Many patients will develop allergies
to common ingredients present in creams and makeup.
The allergy usually begins as a red, scaly irritation.
At Centennial Cosmetic Surgery and
Dermatology we use a type of allergy testing called
"patch testing" to identify the causative
agent. This testing as not available at many dermatologists
office, but without knowing the cause of the rash
many people can unnecessarily suffer for long periods
of time.
